Joyful Songsters


Joyful Songsters is a community choir that is open to all teens and adults, no audition required. It is designed to provide an integrated choral experience for those with and without disabilities. Choir members promote a sense of community involvement within their group and throughout the community while participating in high-quality music learning and performance. The Joyful Songsters is directed by Stephanie Schultz.

Joyful Songsters Schedule 2025-2026
Rehearsals are held on Mondays, 6:00-7:30 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 50 E Tipton St in Huntington, unless otherwise noted.
Performance details such as addresses, directions, and any time changes will be communicated closer to the date of the performance.
December 8 6:00 pm Rehearsal at The Waters, Wear Christmas clothes, red, & green
6:45 pm Leave The Waters and go to First Presbyterian Church
7:00 pm Rehearsal at church with handbells
7:45 pm Distribution of fundraiser items sold
December 10 HU Foundation Breakfast, Dining Commons
7:15 am Arrive, breakfast provided, wear all black, dismissed by 9:00 am
December 15 CCHC Christmas Concert, Wear all black
5:00 pm Arrive for rehearsal and photos
6:30 pm Concert time, concludes around 7:30
December 21 First Presbyterian Church and Pleasant Grove Church,
8:00 am Meet at First Pres, afterwards caravan to Pleasant Grove
Finish around 12:00 pm. Wear all black
December 22 Share A Carol fundraiser
5:00 pm Meet at First Presbyterian Church, wear Christmas clothing
Christmas party afterwards, Bring a snack to share
Optional: Bring a $5 gift for exchange
