Children’s Choir

 

The Children’s Choir is our mid-level choir.  Students in Children’s Choir have demonstrated sight reading ability, appropriate vocal technique, and the ability to sing harmony parts. Advanced part-singing skills are emphasized with the introduction of three or more parts.  Vocal technique is stressed and basic sight-reading skills are incorporated. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Additionally, our most advanced Children’s Choir members will remain at rehearsal until 7:30 p.m. This ensemble, named Treble Tones, will learn more advanced ensemble music, and will be provided with additional performance opportunities.
