My favorite memory from CCHC isI always looked forward to Monday nights and getting to learn music and meet new people! When I was in Treble Choir, we were asked to be a part of Huntington University’s production of the Hansel and Gretel opera. Our role was to dress as the pieces of candy that Hansel and Gretel find along the way to the witch’s house. I was so excited to find out what type of candy I got to dress up as, only to find out I had been assigned a raisin. My costume was a 2XL men’s purple sweater with black tights. It’s a funny memory to look back on now for sure! I also thoroughly enjoyed going to New York City to sing with the National Children’s Choir at Carnegie Hall. What an incredible experience!
